Something heartwarming

About 6 months ago at the sanctuary where I volunteer, a cat was brought in that was found in a feral community with a broken jaw and other injuries after (we assume) being hit by a car.

The sanctuary took him to one of their vets and after +/- R8000.00 (about $1000.00), this vet was able to reset the jaw, remove the broken teeth and tend to the other injuries.

This cat was named after the vet that saved his life - Dr. Jacques - and he soon became a firm favorite at the sanctuary.  Whenever I would rub him or give him a cuddle, he would gently try to bite me, but instead of teeth marks, he would leave drool marks all over my arm!

It seemed as though Dr. Jacques would become a permanent resident at the sanctuary as nobody was interested in him.  The good news is that he was adopted by an old age home just the other day!!  Now he can drool happily ever after knowing that he is bringing joy to old ladies and gents.
